Capital City Rescue Mission, Albany NY

The Missions is dedicated to proclaiming the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ to the homeless and needy of the Capital Region. The Center provides for the whole person - body, mind and spirit so that they will return to society mature in Christ as productive citizens.  The Rescue Missions provides a New Faith Program, a free medical clinic, clothing distributions center, a 9-month New Life Program, transitional living apartments for program graduates and New Home for Women.  All under the direction of Perry Jones.  www.capitalcityrescuemission.com 

Open Arms Pregnancy Center, Glens Falls, NY

Serves women dealing with pregnancy and difficult life circumstances by reflecting God's love and respecting each individual.  All services are confidential, free, with no appointment necessary.  Serving the Glens Falls, Queensbury, South Glens Falls, Hudson Falls and the Lake George region.  www.openarmspregnancycenter.com

Steve and Kim Bugler at Suny Albany, NY

Steve & Kim serve with Campus Ambassadors (through Missions Door) at SUNY Albany Campus.  They host a weekly breakfast bar outreach as well as weekly Bible study, prayer, worship and small groups.  They meet the students where they are and minister directly to them while being a witness for Jesus Christ.  www.missionsdoor.org/missionary/bugler-stephen-and-kim/

John and Linda Maynard, Word of Life

After 36 years of ministering in central and eastern NY as Word of Life Local Church Missionaries they have now transitioned to ministering to "the res of the country" to youth ministries that do not have a resident Word of Life LCM missionary.  They have 105 ministries in 69 churches in 22 states from Maine to Oregon.  The Maynard's state "For over 36 years our passion has been and continues to be helping Pastor, churches and leaders to reach today's youth through evangelism and discipleship.  Our desire is to reach, disciple and develop leadership in local churches in order to provide exciting, vibrant youth ministries."  

Israel and Julie Zalazar, Aregentina

Both Julie & Israel are Argentines, they speak the language, know the culture and do not need visas.  Israel has the gift of service and relating to people.  Julie has the gift of teaching.  World Venture, Argentina

Yoshito Kato, Word of Life Japan

After graduating from Word of Life Bible Institute in 1982 Yoshito and his wife Hisako returned to Japan to begin the new ministry of Word of Life Japan in Osaka.  They started bible clubs in different churches, held leadership training meetings and translated the bible club materials into Japanese.  In 2007 Word of Life Japan started SYME (School of Youth Ministry Evangelism) an ESL (English as Second Language) program for high school graduates to attend Word of Life Bible Institute in NY.  Hisako passed away in January 2013.  Yoshito retired after 31 years of ministry with Word of Life but he continues to speak and teach creationism to pastors and youth with Genesis Japan.

Oleg and Kira Bakshinsky, Russia

Oleg is a pastor and also works outside the church.  The church is growning and now is working on a sound system and delivering the Word on their website

Retired Sim Missionaries to South Africa they now live in South Carolina.  Sharon volunteers at a pregnancy center and Tony continues to preach and teach in local churches.  He was formerly a pastor for 32 years in both the US and in South Africa where he taught nationals The Word of God.
